About the Role

  • A leading UK Casino operator is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to protect and positively develop the casino brand through the day-to-day management of the marketing strategy and activities of the group

  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions, trends and competitor data

  • Determining the demand for promotional activity, marketing campaigns and events

  • Identifying potential customers and translates into increased footfall/on-line registration and revenue

  • Developing and delivering strategies with the goal to maximise profits and share of the market

  • Leads integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution

 Marketing Focus

  • Develop marketing strategies/promotions/campaigns

  • Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems

  • Work with various departments within the business to develop engaging, impactful and personalized multi-channel campaigns which follow the brand’s direction whilst meeting commercial objectives

  • Support the management of the entire life cycle of marketing campaigns/promotions/events from strategic planning to tactical activities, including social media platforms

  • Produce marketing materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines and to place advertising by negotiating costs and communicating arrangements with advertisers and designer

  • Work with and liaise with Stakeholders to develop new ideas for increasing footfall and spend

  • Execution of marketing campaigns including writing campaigns; proof reading copies; and liaising with designers

  • Direct marketing

  • To liaise with suppliers including printers, photographers, designers etc.

  • To assist in the presentation and handling of internal promotional campaigns

  • Managing the production of in-house collateral

  • To perform market research to assess the viability of new strategies, promotions and events as well as to measure the success of recent campaigns/events

  • Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, shareholders and other team members to boost promotional success and acquire more sales

  • Design, build and increase our social media presence

  • New business generation focus

  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website

  • Raise brand awareness

 Financial

  • Budget management – deliver marketing activity with agreed budget

  • Measuring key metrics, planning marketing budgets and tracking marketing ROI

  • Identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance

 Compliance

  • Minimise risk to business and self by ensuring marketing collateral and events are carried out in accordance with legislative regulations

  • Daily demonstrates legislative compliance, adherence to and knowledge of:

    • Operating License conditions

    • Responsible Gaming

    • Anti-Money Laundering

    • Anti-Money Lending

    • GDPR

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years marketing executive or 3 years marketing management experience ideally in a fast paced; high volume environment

  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent

And/Or

  • Degree or equivalent in a Marketing, Communications or Public Relations discipline.

  • Familiarity with CRM, SEM practices and tools

  • Proven ability to manage projects within budget

  • Experience in a gaming related field is beneficial

  • Extensive understanding of marketing best practices

  • IT Literate

The Role

  • The Director of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all communication efforts of the property such as advertising, communication, to content, imagery, signage and all seasonal or daily activities of the resort, as well as the management of company’s digital platforms.

  • The Director of Marketing keeps the brand’s lifestyle and luxury standard on all materials developed, producing content that will keep the resort and our facilities at full capacity. 

  • Breaking through a crowded tourism market to attract new guests and then building loyalty, she or he will manage a resort marketing budget to achieve our business KPIs and targeted return on investment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works closely with different business units within the company, leading the marketing team while serving internal ‘clients’ such as F&B, Sales, Casino, Entertainment & Attractions.

  • Leads the communicated and agreed business goal and creates the communication strategy.

  • Leads the market development activity and oversees implementation of marketing initiatives directed towards achieving the goals.

  • Evaluates the impact of the branding strategy and is responsible for the effective response of the market.

  • Contributes to the marketing research to determine competitiveness, identify insights, and propose actions and assists on developing performance metrics and reports, identify new opportunities and improvements as required.

  • Complies with budgetary guidelines, processing documents and maintaining assigned budget categories.

  • Ensures department’s team is trained and developed as to properly implement the brand communication.

  • Builds marketing plans and budgets for the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.

  • Ensures that the website, promotional material, marketing campaign strategy are updated on a regular basis.

  • Identifies gaps and proposes strategic plans on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Education

  • Degree holder in one of the following fields, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.

Experience

  • 10 years of relevant experience as a leading the Marketing division in a digital world and experience in building loyalty online in a competitive environment.

  • Proven experience in developing quality luxury/ lifestyle content, preferable with a tourism or hospitality background.

  • Preferable with a tourism or hospitality background.
