The Role

  • The CTO will be responsible for the technology infrastructure of the company.

  • The CTO will be in charge of the company’s information technology and computer systems with duties including assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the executive team on the best processes.

Chief Technology Officer Duties

These responsibilities include:

  • Creating an environment that understands and values change, innovation and improvement and build commitment for new initiatives and ideas.

  • Coordinate projects to ensure that deadlines are met and monitor the progress of projects to ensure that they are on track with the schedule whilst measuring and managing the efficiencies within the complete System Development Life Cycle (end-to-end, from design through to deployment and maintenance).

Job Profile

  • The Affiliate Manager will be responsible for identifying potential new affiliate partners within the premium mass value market, creating & building an industry leading affiliate program, ensuring that the reputation of the brand is maintained through the compliant, transparent, and timely management of all affiliates who are part of the program.

  • The principal focus will be identifying potential new affiliate partners, promoting our industry leading socially responsible affiliate program to them, negotiating contracts to maximize the ROI and effectively managing the on-going relationship with partners.

  • There will be a strong focus on regulatory compliance, particularly compliance with the LCCP, CAP and BCAP codes and the Industry Code for Socially Responsible Advertising.

  • The role requires ongoing monitoring of contracted affiliates to maintain a high standard of regulatory compliance in their representation of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and pro-actively managing a portfolio of live casino affiliate customers and ensuring you have in-depth understanding of the financial value of your portfolio.

  • In possession of an established affiliate network within the industry and increase the business’s affiliate network and contact.

  • Responsible for new business via affiliate acquisitions by identifying new high value customers opportunities.

  • Responsible for the retention and business growth with current affiliate partners.

  • Negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with all partners.

  • Analysis of campaigns, reporting ROI results & devising strategies to move forward.

  • Conversion rate optimization - Monitoring and analysing results of all campaigns, including weekly and monthly KPI reports.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong partner relationships through regular contact which will include face to face meetings, telephone and email communication.

  • Proactively managing your online marketing budget.

  • Developing and maintaining market leading industry knowledge of affiliate marketing to assist with delivering a first-class service.

  • Working with numerical data presented in a variety of reports and spread sheets.

  • Liaise with Creative/Design team to ensure that affiliate creatives represent our brands effectively, exclusively and maximise our results.

  • Delivering acquisition and retention campaigns to our affiliates both off the shelf and bespoke to meet the requirements of a given deal.

  • Outgoing personality with a 'can do’ attitude work in a relaxed but professional and fast-paced environment with internal and external teams.

  • Be willing to travel internationally in line with business needs, such as attending major affiliate events worldwide.

  • Responsible to ensure that all associate affiliates are using compliant advertising and marketing practices.

  • Report Compliance issues to the Head of Marketing and where appropriate to the Compliance Director.

  • Note: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform such other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years prior experience in live casino affiliate management in a UK regulated business.

  • Good understanding of live casino products and acquisition target on high-value customers.

  • Experience with CPA, and Revenue share payment models.

  • A previous portfolio of key affiliate partners in live casino would be advantageous.

  • Ability to effectively develop affiliate channels.

  • Ideally, Valid Gambling Commission personal management licence holder.

Essential Knowledge

Job Purpose Statement:

  • Head of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) champions a culture of crime prevention and good financial monitoring across the business to ensure that it complies with its AML legal and regulatory obligations as well as internal policies and procedures - maintaining legal and ethical integrity. 

  • They will support the business to make decisions and deliver a service that protects and enhances the reputation of the company.

  • The Head of AML & CTF is expected to support the CRO in providing effective risk management in a highly regulated and fast paced environment and enable the business operations to effectively and efficiently manage financial crime risks across all aspects of the business, this will include (but not limited to):

    • Develop and manage the company’s AML policy

    • Design and maintain effective AML risk assessments

    • Direct responsibility for the AML function

    • Develop and report on key AML risk indicators

    • Implement robust and effective due diligence procedures in respect of all aspects of AML requirements

    • Manage timely and accurate reporting for all aspects of the AML function and money laundering reporting requirements.

  • The role will be focused on raising awareness and providing advisory for AML & CTF regulatory aspects of the business, ensuring best practice is followed and adhered to and that risk is minimised.

  • The role will be a key contact for senior managers, other business stakeholders, external industry bodies and law enforcement. 

  • The Head of AML & CTF is responsible for ensuring that the business has the requisite knowledge and understanding to ensure it complies with all relevant AML and CTF regulations.

  • Operating with effective Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to ensure that customers are only spending what they can afford is key to any gambling licensed business and the Head of AML & CTF will be expected to lead on ensuring that KYC best practices are developed and applied.

  • As the Company’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) the role includes responsibility for identifying potential threats to the company and fulfilling its legal reporting requirements. 

  • The role also includes responsibility for the company’s anti-bribery and corruption policy and providing subject matter expertise and advice to senior stakeholders and department heads on developing policies and operating frameworks that include any element of AML related requirements.

Skills and Knowledge

Entry Requirements:               

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the Gambling industry.

  • An excellent knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing risk mitigation measures.

  • Proven track record in developing anti money laundering related policies and operating procedures.

  • Ideally, a valid Gambling Commission personal management licence holder.

Essential:

  • Knowledge of AML Laws and Regulation and MLRO requirements, including the requirements relating to the UK Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Commission’s License Conditions and Codes of Practice (non-remote).

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
