Job Title:         (Position Filled) Casino Manager

Salary:            £27K - £30K

The Role

  • A leading Casino operator is seeking a talented Casino Manager to join their friendly and professional team

 Duties

  • Running of the operations of the shift

  • Optimum allocation of staff, both gaming and non-gaming

  • Managing customer expectations

  • Ensuring good customer service from all departments

  • Resolving gaming disputes

  • Ensuring efficient gaming table operations

  • Monitoring all machine action and players

 Regulatory Requirements

  • Ensure all 2005 Gaming act and LCCP’s are adhered to, and the licence is not compromised

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in relation to:

    • Anti Money Laundering

    • Social Responsibility

    • Health and Safety

    • Fire Safety

 Department Role

  • Function as a department head as allocated by the GM to oversee areas of the business

  • Conduct disciplinary hearings as either the company witness or adjudicator

 Communication

  • Provide a bridge for 2-way communication between staff and senior management

 Additional

  • Casino Management shift are 10 hours long and Managers work four shifts on and three off during a working week though this is flexible based on needs of business

  • Two shifts in operation Day starting at 9am to 7pm and Night starting at 18:30pm and finishing at 4am

  • Casino opening hours 10am to 4am 7 days a week

  • Holidays 23 days paid holidays based on the 4-day working week

  • Pay £30,000-£33,000 per annum, however 3-month probationary period starting at £27,000 to £30,000 based on experience

 

You must either have a PML or be able to get one.

You must have right to work in UK or be a British citizen.

The company CANNOT provide visa help for this position.

The Role:

  • The Surveillance Manager is a key member of the casino's security team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the establishment and its guests.

  • The role requires the successful candidate to develop and implement surveillance policies and procedures that comply with the casino's security strategy.

  • They will manage a team of surveillance operators, oversee surveillance equipment and monitoring techniques, and collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential risks to the casino.

  • The Surveillance Manager will maintain accurate and detailed records of all surveillance activities and investigations, conduct periodic audits of the surveillance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop and implement training programs for surveillance operators to identify potential security threats.

  • The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The role requires expertise in using surveillance equipment, knowledge of surveillance and security systems and technologies.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement surveillance policies and procedures that comply with the casino's security strategy.

  • Monitor surveillance footage to detect suspicious activity and potential security threats and ensure that proper actions are taken to address such incidents.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including security and gaming operations, to identify and mitigate potential risks to the casino.

  • Manage and lead the surveillance team, including setting expectations, providing coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all surveillance activities and investigations and provide regular reports to senior management regarding the status of the surveillance department and any potential security risks.

  • Ensure that all surveillance equipment is properly maintained and always functioning and coordinate with the facilities team to make necessary repairs or replacements.

  • Develop and implement training programs for surveillance operators to ensure they can identify potential security threats and maintain a comprehensive training record for each employee.

  • Conduct periodic audits of the surveillance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and take appropriate actions to address any deficiencies.

 Technical Requirements:

  • Expertise in using surveillance equipment, such as cameras, recorders, and software, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain such equipment.

  • Knowledge of surveillance and security systems and technologies, including access control, alarm systems, and fire suppression systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyse data and develop actionable insights using data analytics tools and software.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveillance or security management, preferably in a casino or gaming environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • A leading UK Casino operator is seeking a talented Marketing Manager to protect and positively develop the casino brand through the day-to-day management of the marketing strategy and activities of the group

  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions, trends and competitor data

  • Determining the demand for promotional activity, marketing campaigns and events

  • Identifying potential customers and translates into increased footfall/on-line registration and revenue

  • Developing and delivering strategies with the goal to maximise profits and share of the market

  • Leads integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution

Marketing Focus

  • Develop marketing strategies/promotions/campaigns

  • Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems

  • Work with various departments within the business to develop engaging, impactful and personalized multi-channel campaigns which follow the brand’s direction whilst meeting commercial objectives

  • Support the management of the entire life cycle of marketing campaigns/promotions/events from strategic planning to tactical activities, including social media platforms

  • Produce marketing materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines and to place advertising by negotiating costs and communicating arrangements with advertisers and designer

  • Work with and liaise with Stakeholders to develop new ideas for increasing footfall and spend

  • Execution of marketing campaigns including writing campaigns; proof reading copies; and liaising with designers

  • Direct marketing

  • To liaise with suppliers including printers, photographers, designers etc.

  • To assist in the presentation and handling of internal promotional campaigns

  • Managing the production of in-house collateral

  • To perform market research to assess the viability of new strategies, promotions and events as well as to measure the success of recent campaigns/events

  • Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, shareholders and other team members to boost promotional success and acquire more sales

  • Design, build and increase our social media presence

Financial

  • Budget management – deliver marketing activity with agreed budget

  • Minimise risk to business and self by ensuring marketing collateral and events are carried out in accordance with legislative regulations

  • Daily demonstrates legislative compliance, adherence to and knowledge of:

    • Anti-Money Laundering

    • Anti-Money Lending

    • GDPR

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years marketing executive or 3 years marketing management experience ideally in a fast paced; high volume environment

  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent

And/Or

  • Degree or equivalent in a Marketing, Communications or Public Relations discipline

  • Familiarity with CRM, SEM practices and tools

  • Proven ability to manage projects within budget

  • Experience in a gaming related field is beneficial

  • Extensive understanding of marketing best practices

  • IT Literate
